Terms of Service

These terms apply to quiettemper.com and purchases from Quiet Temper. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms together with the policies linked at checkout. Quiet Temper is a Hong Kong-based leather goods and production studio; final legal-entity details should be read together with the contact information shown on the store.

Products and availability

We make reasonable efforts to describe products, materials, colors, dimensions and availability accurately. Screen colors vary, and leather is a natural material with differences in grain, tone and markings. We may correct errors, update information, limit quantities or cancel an order when a product, price or specification was materially incorrect. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the affected amount.

Prices, payment and import charges

Store prices are displayed in US dollars unless stated otherwise. Taxes, duties, brokerage charges and other import costs are handled as stated at checkout and in the Shipping Policy. Payment must be authorized before an order is accepted.

Made-to-order and custom work

Made-to-order goods enter production after payment and confirmation of available choices. Studio projects, prototypes, custom components and small-batch production are governed by the written quotation, confirmed specification and payment schedule. A quotation may include development fees, sampling rounds, minimum quantities, tolerances, delivery terms and approval deadlines.

Custom development does not include unauthorized use of third-party trademarks, counterfeit branding or unlawful designs. Unless a written project agreement states otherwise, each party retains its pre-existing intellectual property. Ownership or permitted use of newly created patterns, tooling or design files must be stated in the quotation.

Order acceptance

An order confirmation acknowledges receipt but does not guarantee acceptance. We may decline or cancel an order for suspected fraud, sanctions or export restrictions, payment failure, unavailable materials, delivery limitations or a material pricing error.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the site, interfere with security, introduce malicious code, scrape the site in a way that disrupts service, impersonate another person, or use our content, designs or marks without permission except as allowed by law.

Intellectual property

The Quiet Temper name, site content, photography, graphics, product names, original designs and written materials are owned by or licensed to Quiet Temper and may not be copied or used commercially without written permission.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the site and its content are provided without warranties beyond those expressly stated. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, carrier or customs delays outside our reasonable control, or misuse of a product. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without limiting any mandatory consumer protection that applies where you live. Before formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue directly.
